The folks behind Project #173 have twigged this and created their very own Gingerbread Rum! Starting with a good quality rum as a base and bringing in all those yummy aforementioned sweet, spicy notes you'll find in gingerbread, this spirit is particularly fabulous indeed. We're looking forward to pairing it with ginger ale... Not only is it tasty, but the bottle also looks the business, even featuring a flake of 23 karat gold leaf!
Nose: Vanilla pod, root ginger and hints of cinnamon, with some fruity buoyancy in the background.
Palate: Fresh ginger sits at the fore, supported by orange, molasses and black pepper.
Finish: Enjoyably spicy on the finish, mellowed by a touch of milk chocolate.
Overall: Particularly vibrant, with the rum and gingerbread notes blending together brilliantly.
