'Penguin' Cheese Tower by The West Country Cheese Co. - Wedding Cheese Cake

This Penguin Cheese Celebration Cake has approx 1.8-1.9kg of cheese and will feed approx 15+ people as part of a buffet. The base layer is approx 6" diameter.

• Base: Fine English Vintage Cheddar, 1kg - This cheese is made using traditional methods and matured for 14 months before being dipped in its Burgundy wax outer coating. A delicious, sweet tangy, soft creamy cheddar.
• 
  2nd Tier: Baby Cornish Yarg, 500g half ring - This unique cheese is wrapped in nettle leaves which are picked wild from the surrounding area. A semi-hard cheese, slightly creamy and crumbly, texture is a bit between a cheddar and caerphilly. The flavour is fresh and lemony when the cheese is young becoming more aromatic with age and the edible nettles impart a delicate, slightly mushroomy flavour as the cheese matures

  3rd Tier: Perl Las Blue Cheese, 200g - Made entirely by handin the lovely and lush valley of the river Cych in Carmarthenshire. Thisis a beautiful mild/medium blue cheeseit’s strong but delicate and creamy with lovely lingering overtones

  4th Tier: Brillat Savarin, 100g - a deliciously, rich and decadent triple cream dessert cheese. Chalky and fresh when young maturing into a luscious creaminess with rich buttery notes. Made in the Ile de France region, it pairs well with Champagne! You’ll be wanting more than one!

Included: 4 x mixed penguins (does not include star).

Will arrive in a simple plain outer box, unless gift box specified. Comes with instructions if not assembled. If cello wrapped, it will be pre assembled with cheeses still in their outer wrappings and sent in a plain outer box.
