Derived from our original Homemade Curing Kits, these tubes are now eco-friendly and allow you to cure double the amount of bacon. You just need to add 1.5kg of pork belly, which we recommend getting from your local butchers.
What is curing?
Curing is any of various food preservation and flavouring processes such as meats and fish, by the addition of combination of, salts, nitrates, nitrites, or sugar. The aim is to draw the moisture out of the meat by the process of osmosis. Our Curing range allows you to cure your own bacon and salmon in the comfort of your own home, using a quality kit and a method created by a professional.
The inspiration behind the Curing range was born from the trend for DIY culinary processes, the Great British love of bacon, and a gap in the market for a product that combines the two.
