The finest ripe blue plums grown in the rich Croatian soil are the key ingredient in this first-class fruit brandy, which is a classic Eastern European distillate. A natural rich aroma, this fruit brandy’s natural taste and rich aroma are provided by a special procedure of fermentation and distillation. Carefully fermented and distilled, the plums are fermented for 3 months in large tanks, distilled twice and then matured in oak casks for a minimum of 2 years.

About the Producer
The 'Maraschino liqueur' originates from Zadar, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. Maraska uses the original Maraschino recipe from the 16th century, devised by pharmacists of the Dominican monastery and later re-discovered by Francesco Drioli. After the destruction of Zadar during World War II, Maraska distillery regrew the liqueur's infamy and brought back the region's most famous creation. Deeply set with a tradition in liqueur production, Maraska is a truly quality producer.
