About the Producer
We were established in 1797 when Messrs Paxton & Whitfield started out in London's Aldwych market. They soon recognised the need to be in the affluent area of St James so opened our flagship store at 93 Jermyn Street in 1896. We now have four shops in the UK. We were granted our first Royal Warrant in 1850 for Queen Victoria and have supplied every monarch since. All our mail orders are sent from our warehouse in the Cotswolds and we cut and wrap each piece of cheese by hand.
