PLAYin Choc is an ethical, design led, premium organic chocolatier and environmentally friendly educational kids toy company. Our chocolate is 100 per cent organic and vegan, with no refined sugars, and our toys are made from 100 per cent recycled card. We use compostable film to wrap our chocolate and no plastic in our packaging or toys.

Our Story

Imagine a treat that will surprise, inspire and delight children, rewarding them with delicious organic chocolate and a playfully puzzling toy, and bringing them into a joy-filled world that only kids can inhabit. PLAYin Choc does exactly that -
and it's all bundled up in one little box.

Each beautifully designed PLAYin Choc box contains two individually wrapped organic chocolates, along with a delightful animal toy, made from 100 per cent recycled cardboard. With a series of 18 to collect, assemble and learn about, each quirkily illustrated animal comes with its own fun fact card. Who knew that the Sumatran tiger has webbed feet for fast swimming or that a giraffe rarely sleeps and never sits down?

PLAYin Choc was devised and created by Maya Simler, driven by her desire for something better for her children and a frustration with the harm caused to the natural world by plastic and excessive packaging. Maya's background in design, her uncompromising attention to detail and a pioneering approach to engaging children with the future of our planet, mean that each box, as well as the carefully- crafted toys within, are not only beautifully designed but also 100 per cent recyclable and biodegradable. Together with a bean to bar approach to creating its chocolate, PLAYin Choc is a unique treat for kids that brings together taste, creativity and sustainability.

PLAYin Choc's delicious bean to bar chocolate is made using just three natural, organic ingredients. The finest fairly traded South American cacao beans, grown on small family-owned farms and gently roasted to release the full flavours, are combined with vanilla and vitamin-rich coconut to create each of the domino-sized treats, which are also certified vegan and contain no refined sugar.
