'Cooked ham that stands the test of time'. In an age where traditions can all too easily be lost and fade away. Wessex Country Gammons is proud to still use many of the techniques and recipes from yesteryear. Richard Isaacs, founder and Managing Director, in the early years learned his butchery skills in a traditional butcher's shop in East Street in his hometown of Wimborne Minster, Dorset.

Despite the business having grown, now employing over 20 local staff, Wessex has not forgotten those humble beginnings in the shop. The company still holds on to the foundations that served them so well along the way, that a quality product and good service remain a must, not an optional extra.
