Our Story

Hi I’m Kasey, the founder, creator, chief baker and head pot washer at Sweet Cakey Thing and I am delighted to introduce you to the sumptuously rich and gloriously decadent world of my free-from cake pots.

Sweet Cakey Thing launched in March 2020 after months of development, testing and failed recipes until I hit upon the magic combination. I wanted to create an indulgent cake dessert which would love my body as much as I loved cake! So that meant only natural, nourishing goodness and wholefoods, no nasties and no refined sugar.

I am so excited with how Sweet Cakey Thing is going down. These fabulous little cakes are perfect for clean eaters, coeliacs and gluten intolerant but ultimately they are for anyone who loves great cake and wants to treat themselves well.

I am blown away by the glowing reviews I receive daily about Sweet Cakey and my proudest moment to date is winning 2 gold stars at The Great Taste Awards. I cannot believe something I made has gotten the stamp of approval from The Guild Of Fine Food. Amazing!
