Created by a former TV presenter and ex-Army Officer with a passion for distilling the finest gin and sharing it with others, Sky Wave Gin is a true handcrafted gin distilled in ultra-micro batches at the Bucknell Distillery in Oxfordshire. It is made by real people, Rachel and Andy Parsons, who are passionate about creating exceptional spirits.
It took 7 months of hard work, more than 40 recipe variations and a 300-strong taste panel to create this delicious gin. The "hearts" - the flavoursome part of the still run which makes it into your bottle - are cut by taste not by machine, and each bottle is hand-labelled with the distiller's name and a tasting note.
For our signature edition, we adhere strictly to the London Dry standard. Our 13 botanicals are carefully selected to reflect our adventures overseas and the Oxfordshire countryside where the gin is made; for example, one of our botanicals is blackberries foraged from our village hedgerows, hand-picked at their ripest.
The Navy Strength version of our London Dry gin offers the same great smooth taste but is bottled at a whopping 57% ABV. The increased alcohol really brings out the fruit content, so drinkers get a very slightly sweeter hit before the subtle spices kick in for that famous lingering finish.
For our raspberry and rhubarb gin we grow our own rhubarb to ensure we have the best possible quality. The fruits are blended to create a unique and very smooth flavour.
Our deliciously warming winter spiced apple gin liqueur uses only the finest English apples plus selected spices to create a wonderful treat on a cold evening.
