    Description

The cheese experts at Harvey & Brockless (suppliers to many of the UK's top restaurants) have handpicked 4 cheeses, with the ideal accompanying conserve for you, to create a beautiful English cheese board.

    A note from them:

We have created for you the perfect artisan cheese board. You will get a soft, a hard, a blue and a goat cheese. Simply the best of the best of the best English artisan cheeses. They will be complimented by this gorgeous fig fruit conserve. All you need is some good bread and maybe a glass of wine.

    Tunworth 250g
This is the ultimate British camembert style cheese. Smoother and creamier than its French equivalent, it has a long lasting nutty and sweet milky flavour with savoury undertones. An award-winning perfect British alternative for a baked camembert.

    Milk Type: Cow
    Pasteurised/Unpasteurised: Pasteurised

    Cheddar Vintage Quicke's 24 Months 1kg
Aged for 24 months. This very fine vintage is the oldest cheddar of its kind made in the UK; a rich, mellow cheese with huge depth of flavour. A must try for extra mature cheddar lovers. Handcrafted, as all Quicke's cheese is, and cloth-bound by their expert cheesemakers.

    Milk Type: Cow
    Pasteurised/Unpasteurised: Pasteurised

    Mini Oxford Blue 320g
Semi-soft blue cheese made in Oxford. It has springy soft creamy texture, with spicy, tangy and aromatic blue flavours. Fantastic British alternative to Dolcelatte or Fourme d'Ambert.

Robert Pouget saw a gap in the English blue cheese market for a semi-soft English blue which could rival imports such as Dolcelatte, Cambozola or Fourme D'ambert and as a result developed Oxford Blue in 1994 for the Oxford Cheese Company.

Hand made by Robert with pasteurised cow's milk, Oxford Blue is a full-fat soft, vegetarian cheese. Creamy with a distinctive blue flavour. Aromatic and spicy, this cheese can be paired with white wine and gives a salty and tangy flavour.

    Milk Type: Cow
    Pasteurised/Unpasteurised: Pasteurised
    Suitable for Vegetarians: Yes
    Rind Type: Natural

    Tor Pyramid 200g
Ash covered semi-soft goat cheese made by White Lake in Somerset. Pyramid shaped cheese that can easily compete with a French Valencay. Tor has a fresh, clean, slightly lactic aroma with a citrus flavour and is slightly salty. Opened in 2005 White Lake Cheese ltd has quickly established itself as a leading brand in the artisan cheese industry. Winning so many of awards over the years they don't like to brag about them.

    Milk Type: Cow
    Pasteurised/Unpasteurised: Unpasteurised
    Suitable for Vegetarians: Yes

    Fig Fruit Conserve 200g
This fig set fruit conserve for cheese is stunning with all cheeses, cold cuts, terrines and charcuterie. A firm, glossy jellied conserve, with crunchy fig seeds throughout. It can be thinly sliced or shaped it as you like. It will compliment perfectly those two cheddars by giving a sweet and real fig taste.
