Tinned Acerra Cannellini Beans 3 x 400g
Sold by: Vorrei
Country of Origin: Italy
These small white kidney shaped beans are a local speciality from the town of Acerra near Naples.
Cultivated in volcanic, nutrient-rich soil, these beans have a thin almost imperceptible skin and cook quickly. They have an excellent texture and intense flavour making them a typical ingredient in Neopolitan dishes such as pasta with beans and various soups. They are also great for salads and casseroles and wonderful on frise garnished with a drop of extra virgin olive oil.
