Mrs Butlers Farmhouse Creamy: The classic Lancashire cheese, Mrs. Butler’s is matured for 3-5 months making it mild and creamy but with just enough acidity creating a delicious depth of flavour. The classic Lancashire cheese made on Wilson Fields Farm since day one. This is Mrs. Butler’s (or Gran as we like to call her) original recipe and as much a part of our history as the dairy itself. The cheese curds are allowed to develop their unique taste and texture over a slow make. They are then filled into individual moulds, by our master cheesemakers, and cloth bound in the traditional way before careful maturation for between 3 – 5 months. Mrs. Butlers Creamy Lancashire is a very versatile culinary cheese that maintains a smooth consistency when melted and makes the best cheese on toast ever! Suitable for Vegetarians.

Trotter Hill 200g: A rich Lancashire cheese matured for at least 12 months to create a golden hue and open texture that is buttery and tangy. Our trademark Lancashire cheese created by Mrs. Butler (Gran) and developed over decades by the family. Trotter Hill is really unlike any of the other classic cheeses you keep in the fridge. Handmade in the same way since 1932 at Wilson Fields Farm, in open vats with pasteurised cows’ milk from the Butler family herd. The cheese curds are allowed to develop their unique taste and texture over a slow make. The curds are filled into individual moulds and cloth bound in the traditional way before being carefully matured. Trotter Hill is the ‘old reliable’ of all our cheeses. It makes the best cheese scones, the best cheese sandwiches, unbelievable cheese & pineapple skewers (you know you love them) rules the cheeseboard and melts like a dream. Suitable for Vegetarians.

Crumbly Lancashire 200g: Our Crumbly Lancashire cheese tastes its best whilst still young – this youth gives it an extremely pale complexion and a mild, zesty taste that’s light and fresh on the palate. Each cheese is produced by hand in open vats. Curds are filled into individual moulds and the maturation is a short 2 – 4 weeks resulting in a cheese that is crumbly and moist with a bright white colour. With its clean, sharp taste, Crumbly Lancashire is a great alternative to feta; ideal for salads and other cold dishes as well as being perfect for providing depth and texture to cooked dishes. Suitable for Vegetarians.
