Limited release of this Australian whisky. The original Starward is solely matured in Australian fortified wine barrels, which are hand selected, re-coopered, re-toasted and re-sized specifically for ageing our spirit.

These barrels have formerly contained Apera, which is an Australian take on Spanish sherry. By placing Australia’s bold fortified wine barrels in Melbourne’s dynamic climate we are able to extract rich and complex flavours of dried fruit, spice and sweetness at an enhanced rate.

Starward began with a simple vision: offer the world a modern whisky unshackled from tradition. Starward borrows from the past without being constrained by it, and combines it with the best Australia has to offer: our barley, our barrels, and our climate.
