This hot smoked paprika comes from fresh handpicked long red peppers naturally grown in the ‘La Vera’, a traditional pepper growing region in Extremadura, southwest of Spain. The traditional method to preserve the peppers is still used nowadays, the process can take up to 15 days and consist on dehydrating the peppers from the heat of oak-wood fire, which infuses the peppers with wood pipe notes. Then the dry peppers are ground using traditional stone mills to keep temperatures low and help retain natural flavours, resulting on an intensely smoky flavour with a very gentle hint of heat. Used for stews, romesco sauces, home-cured chorizo sausages and marinades. Pimenton de La Vera has DOP status (Protected Denomination of Origin).

The courier company will attempt to deliver your parcel the next working day. Signature on delivery will be required. If no-one is in or if the courier cannot gain access, they will try to deliver it to a neighbour.
