From the volcanic foothills of Mount Etna in Sicily. After ripening on clay soils grapes were hand picked and were aged for 6 months in fine grained large bottles and then in cement tanks for several months. Velvety and soft with subtle perfumed notes on the nose. Juicy black cherries, raspberries and spice across the palate. Ideal with some roast pork.
