A staple in Native American cultures, wild rice is high in protein, magnesium and antioxidants. Often still harvested traditionally via canoe, we can’t think of a finer rice.

Rinse before use. Add 1 cup of wild rice to 2 cups of cold water to a saucepan. Bring to the boil and add a pinch of salt if desired. Cover and reduce to simmer for around 40-45 minutes.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
