Piade or Piadine are very popular street food in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, they are unleavened flat bread which can be eaten cold and topped or warmed and rolled to make a light and delicious with the filling of your choice - cheese, cold cuts, grilled vegetables..or a mixture of all three! Our favourite is definitely 'Caprese' - tomato, mozzarella and basil! Our piadine are made with organic ingredients including a wonderful organic extra virgin olive oil which gives a soft and flavourful wrap and barley and quinoa flour to ensure a product that is yeast and dairy free as well as vegan.
To heat them up just warm each side gently in a large pan (no oil is needed).
Delicious too with sweet ingredients such as Nutella and banana!
