This Orange Pekoe black tea from the Eastern slopes of Sri Lanka's hill country (UVA District) gives a delicate amber liquor with lovely flavour. It requires brewing for at least 3 minutes. The rolled leaves are large and unfurl nicely when infused. This tea is sustainably cultivated from a highly regarded community owned and fairly traded estate.
Our teas reveal the wonderful single estate teas that Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon) produces: A synthesis of the island's perfect 'tea climate' together with 150 years of tea making experience.
Why Sri Lanka? Because it produces some of the best tasting teas in the world - especially those teas grown at higher altitudes in the 'Hill Country; naturally flavourful, full bodied and always refreshing.
