A single origin, speciality coffee from Peru. Find a velvety mouthfeel with chocolate, almond and caramel in each sip. A sweet acidity of orange & grape follows, leaving a super aftertaste. Grand!
This speciality coffee is grown in Cajamarca, northern Peru, where there is a community of smallholder coffee farmers. They grow their coffee in the Andes Mountains, at around 1800-2000 metres above sea level. This high latitude means that the coffee takes longer to grow and therefore allowing for more complex flavours within the coffee beans.
Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we lovingly roast some of the best coffees from around the world, by hand and in small batches at our roastery in Rutland. We ethically source speciality coffees from small farms and cooperatives which often include micro-lots too.
Speciality coffee is the best of the best. It is lovingly cared for throughout its life, being carefully nurtured, hand-picked and processed to bring out the awesomeness locked inside. To gain speciality status, the coffee must gain a quality score of at least 80 points from 100.
We freshly roast coffee multiple times each week, grind fresh to order to ensure that you receive the freshest coffee possible.
We are a climate positive roastery. We reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible; and what we can't reduce, we re-use, recycle and plant trees!
