With its depth of flavour from its fragrant herbs, Green Ajika is wonderful when mixed into natural yogurt or soured cream. It also goes particularly well with lamb as a glaze or marinate.
Mix into a bowl of pasta and use it as a spicier alternative to pesto to add seasoning, heat and beautiful flavour.
Ajika translates as salt, so even though the salt content seems high, the paste only needs to be used sparingly to give all the seasoning heat and flavour you'd need in the dish or snack. Usually, depending on the dish, no other salt would need to be added if using Ajika. More importantly, there's no oil or sugar at all in the pastes.
