Kachi (Saffron Pudding) 145g
Made and sold by: Anzali

This recipe has fond memories of one of the contributors to the knowledge of all the recipes at Anzali, our late dear Oma. Her version used to be the one that we all screamed for when we were young and she never disappointed in delivering the best.
A sweet Persian dessert, somewhat similar to Halvah. Traditionally it is served at wedding feasts, where symbolically it is supposed to restore strength of the exhausted bride and groom.
A dessert which can be made into a sweet, however this variation has been adjusted to be enjoyed several times over. Nothing other than a spoon is required for this dessert.
A pudding that uses simple, natural ingredients, but requires a lot of time and patience to get the perfect consistency and right amount of flavour. Another recipe that makes perfect use of the saffron spice, this can be enjoyed as a breakfast to keep you going until lunch or as a dessert.
Serves 1 person.
