The goji berry, also called the wolfberry, is a bright orange-red berry that comes from a shrub native to China. In Asia, goji berries have been eaten for generations in the hope of living longer.
Goji berries are valued as one of the fruits with the most antioxidants. They are rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Containing 18 kinds of amino acids (including all eight essential acids that the body can not produce on its own), 6 vitamins and 11 minerals, 5 of unsaturated fatty acids, five different carotenoids and many pigment phenols which act as antioxidants. Containing beta-carotene and zeaxanthin, vitamin C and vitamin B1 and B2, cysteine, manganese, zinc, copper, selenium, iron, calcium and potassium.

Prep & Usage
It is recommended to consume 10-30g of dried fruit per day, which is about one handful. Wash them under water and you can enjoy them on its own or with other foods, for example, cereals, smoothies, yoghurts, juices, nuts etc.
