Blackberry Cottage cakes are perfect for a tea time treat, made with vegetables as the largest ingredient, yet tasting like a regular cake, great with a cuppa.

By using vegetables as the largest ingredient we can add a unique dimension to your cake but still tasting like a regular cake. All our cakes are hand made in small batches using our own vegetables and eggs where possible. Our award winning cakes will be delivered by post to the door.

Your get well soon cake selection will consist of:

• Fruit Loaf with Parsnip and Lemon Icing


• Apricot and Almond with Carrot


• Carrot Cake with Vanilla Frosting


• Courgette Flapjack

(if we have a shortage of something there will be a substitute cake in place)

At Blackberry Cottage all our cakes are handmade in small batches, they are then hand-wrapped and securely packed in the box.

Our cakes have been featured in magazines such as Vogue, Saturday Independent, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Life among others. They have been awarded BBC Good Food Producers of Excellent British Specialty Food.

Each cake weighs between 70g and 100g. These cakes are freshly handmade please note shelf life. Shelf life: 5-7 days (depending on the cake) the cakes are suitable for freezing, place in freezer on delivery, can freeze for up to 3 months.

About the Producer
Blackberry Cottage Christmas puddings are traditional round, we start steaming our puddings in April, allowing them plenty of time to mature. The juicy fruit is steeped for up to two weeks before we add the rest of the ingredients and our own pudding spice mix.
