We farm microgreens, which have been referred to as superfoods. With high nutrient concentration, many microgreen varieties blow away their fully grown counterparts. Rich in taste and variety, they are ideal for expanding your taste horizons, brightening up boring meal combinations, and even teaching children about healthy eating… without the need for a large portion size.
What's a vertical farm?
Vertical farming is where food is produced using vertically stacked layers and indoor farming techniques, usually on smaller land than traditional farming. We use CEA (Controlled Environment Agriculture) technology to control the parameters (e.g. the temperature, PH value, humidity, light, airflow) of our growing environment. This allows us to optimise growing conditions and ultimately provide better, more regular produce. Microgreens are harvested when the second set of leaves appear, although product characteristics differ by product and customer taste.
