The Haskap Berry
The haskap berry is one of the most nutritious and exciting superberry discoveries in recent years. Their deep blue skin and crimson flesh give haskaps 3 times the antioxidants, 4 times the anthocyanins and 5 times the flavour of blueberries. Anthocyanins are naturally occurring plant pigments that give fruit and vegetables their deep purple, blue and red colours.
How to use
Haskapa Berry Powder has a unique, zesty flavour combination of tangy and sweet, plus a naturally strong berry colour which gives your food an anthocyanin power of purple daily boost. Use as you would other fruit or berry powders - simply a teaspoon in your smoothie, shake, or stirred into breakfast cereal, porridge or yogurt. Haskap berry powder is also brilliant in baking and desserts - adding natural colour and a unique delicious taste.
Nutritional Info
The berry’s deep blue-purple skin and crimson flesh makes it rich in health promoting anthocyanins. Haskap berries also have a unique anthocyanin profile, with one specific anthocyanin called cyanidin-3-glucoside, known as C3G, making around 85% of the total anthocyanin content.

I use in smoothies, porridge, yogurts etc. Gives a lovely purple colour to foods and a fruity tangy taste, personally didn’t find it blended well as a fruit tea, but no problems in the foods mentioned above, they also now put a moisture absorber packet inside to stop the powder clumping which helps. Lovely product, just one star off as a little expensive.
