A single origin, speciality coffee from Rwanda, this lighter roasted coffee is juicy and rounded with a bright acidity similar to rhubarb and grapefruit. As it cools find hints of toffee too.

This coffee is ethically sourced from the Ibisi farm in Rwanda. Bernard Uwitije has great success with his sister washing station, Gitega Hills in Rwanda and so he set up Ibisi Mountain Washing Station too. He loved the outcome of full washed, speciality coffee and wanted to produce more. Coffee from Gitega hills is a favourite here at Two Chimps Coffee and this is just as good.

Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we lovingly roast some of the best coffees from around the world, by hand and in small batches at our roastery in Rutland. We ethically source speciality coffees from small farms and cooperatives which often include micro-lots too.

Speciality coffee is the best of the best. It is lovingly cared for throughout its life, being carefully nurtured, hand-picked and processed to bring out the awesomeness locked inside. To gain speciality status, the coffee must gain a quality score of at least 80 points from 100.

We freshly roast coffee multiple times each week, grind fresh to order to ensure that you receive the freshest coffee possible.

We are a climate positive roastery. We reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible; and what we can't reduce, we re-use, recycle and plant trees!
