Wow – this smooth and full-bodied coffee will blow you away with its chocolate biscuit sweetness and creamy nougat finish. A single origin from Guatemala that's so more-ish, you’ll be drinking it all day. Hidden in the southwestern highlands, the region of Poaquil sits quietly unnoticed... until now.
This coffee is grown by a group of farmers with around 1 hectare each. They harvest by hand and use a small mill locally to wash the coffee. When graders were cupping at the origin, this coffee stood out against favourites from well-known regions of Guatemala. Our importers will be working even closer with these farmers to produce a bigger lot and more awesome coffees next year.
Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we lovingly roast some of the best coffees from around the world, by hand and in small batches at our roastery in Rutland. We ethically source speciality coffees from small farms and cooperatives which often include micro-lots too.
Speciality coffee is the best of the best. It is lovingly cared for throughout its life, being carefully nurtured, hand-picked and processed to bring out the awesomeness locked inside. To gain speciality status, the coffee must gain a quality score of at least 80 points from 100.
We freshly roast coffee multiple times each week, grind fresh to order to ensure that you receive the freshest coffee possible.
We are a climate positive roastery. We reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible; and what we can't reduce, we re-use, recycle and plant trees!
