Wow – this smooth and full-bodied coffee will blow you away with notes of chocolate biscuit, a soft acidity and creamy nougat finish. A single origin from Guatemala that is so more-ish, you’ll be drinking it all day.
Off the beaten path, near to the well-known regions of Acatango and Antigua, sits the region of Poaquil. This coffee is grown and hand-harvested by a small group of farmers. They have around 1 hectare of land each and use a local mill to wash their coffee. This coffee stood out against popular regions of Guatemala and has proved it’s worthiness on the cupping table. Our importers will be working even closer to produce bigger lots and more amazing coffees next year.
Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we lovingly roast some of the best coffees from around the world, by hand and in small batches at our roastery in Rutland. We ethically source speciality coffees from small farms and cooperatives which often include micro-lots too.
Speciality coffee is the best of the best. It is lovingly cared for throughout its life, being carefully nurtured, hand-picked and processed to bring out the awesomeness locked inside. To gain speciality status, the coffee must gain a quality score of at least 80 points from 100.
We freshly roast coffee multiple times each week, grind fresh to order to ensure that you receive the freshest coffee possible.
We are a climate positive roastery. We reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible; and what we can't reduce, we re-use, recycle and plant trees!
