Made by Neal's Yard Creamery in Herefordshire. An absolutely stunning ashed goats' cheese with a delicate, wrinkled rind. Fluffy yet creamy texture with a flavoursome zesty tang. Its distinctive, pretty appearance makes it a hugely popular choice on cheeseboards.

Made by Charlie Westhead and Haydn Roberts on their farm at Dorstone on the Hereford / Welsh border. A semi-soft cheese made from unpasteurised goat's milk and vegetarian rennet. This petite column shaped cheese has a crisp white colour that contrasts with the blueish grey colour of its edible rind, resulting from the coating of ash applied to it. The texture of the cheese can vary from being fluffy to flaky depending on the maturity of the cheese, with a yoghurty and milky flavour and a slight nuttiness on the rind.

Originally Neal’s Yard Creamery were part of Neal's Yard Dairy and made the first Greek-Style yoghurt to be sold in the UK, together with Crème Fresh and other cheeses. A few years later as demand grew, the Creamery became its own separate business. In 1996 the Creamery moved from the South East, to their current picturesque location on Dorstone Hill, overlooking the river Wye in Herefordshire. They have been able to flourish here, focusing on family and working with a great team to produce the best products that they can.
