Product Description

Dolcetto d'Alba is one of seven Dolcetto-focused DOC wines produced in Italy's north-western Piedmonte region. The wine is named after the grape from which it is made and the area where it is produced. It is considered the most notable of the Dolcetto classified reds, thanks to the considerable number of quality producers in the vicinity. Dolcetto-based wines are not sweet, as many people might think on hearing the name; the Piedmontese declared it "dolce" only because it is lower in acid than the wines they're used to.

With its lush raspberry and red cherry fruit paired with refreshing acidity, this natural, organic wine is perfect for year-round enjoyment.

Wonderful paired with cured meat, game, pasta dishes with meat sauces.
