Rupert Harker from Blackberry Farm supplies us with traditionally reared beef which we sauté and layer with mature cheddar cheese from Joseph Heler. This rich and tasty filling is encased in shortcrust butter pastry made with locally milled flour in Brockleby's large pie, and a gluten free Doves Farm flour blend in Brockleby's small pie, and glazed with free range eggs from Sherwood Farm in Hickling.

The Jalland family have been farming in and around Melton Mowbray for over 500 years, and in 2003, cattle farmer Ian Jalland founded Brockleby's. Originally a farm shop in Asfordby Hill, Melton Mowbray, Ian's aim was to serve the community with high-quality local produce, from his own farm and those of other local farmers.
