This smooth and creamy single origin coffee from Brazil has a milk chocolate aroma whilst brewing. Find toffee sweetness, a soft cherry acidity in every sip and look out for vanilla as it cools. It’s so yummy and great for an all-day brew.
This speciality coffee is at Fazenda Zaroca in Brazil, by Gilberto and his brother, who turned the farm around in 2015 after years of steady decline. They introduced special drying boxes that hold around 15,000 litres of coffee cherries with vents at the bottom. This method of drying helps develop the flavours of the cherries and are now producing some really excellent coffees. We cannot wat to see what else they produce.
Here at Two Chimps Coffee, we lovingly roast some of the best coffees from around the world, by hand and in small batches at our roastery in Rutland. We ethically source speciality coffees from small farms and cooperatives which often include micro-lots too.
Speciality coffee is the best of the best. It is lovingly cared for throughout its life, being carefully nurtured, hand-picked and processed to bring out the awesomeness locked inside. To gain speciality status, the coffee must gain a quality score of at least 80 points from 100.
