The English Beauty, which was shortlisted for 'Best Product from a Start-up' in 2017, is a complex creature. She is more delicate than her cousin, English Breakfast, and bolder than her sibling, Oriental Beauty. We like to think of it as a twist on breakfast. Take a mid-morning or afternoon break with our refined twist on breakfast tea. This is a lighter alternative to stronger traditional breakfast teas and can be enjoyed without milk or sugar. Blended from lovely Oriental Beauty (a type of Oolong) tea and Formosan black tea. The Oriental Beauty tea gives the blend a less tannic flavour than a pure black tea. Drink this at your desk while having a sandwich or cheese scone.
Prep & usage
Boil some water and let it sit in the kettle for 1-2 minutes to allow to cool to about 95°C. Then steep your tea tent for about 3 minutes. Adjust steeping time to taste. Each tea tent can be brewed twice in a normal sized mug. Cold-brewed in tonic water or sparkling water over night, this tea makes a great gin and tonic mixer.
