Honey Spirits Co. takes great pride in distilling artisan gin and other spirits infused with the flavours of the Peak District.

Our Story

Our products are hand crafted from 22 natural botanicals, inspired by the nature of the Peak District UK. Honey Spirits was founded on the ethos of producing the highest quality spirits using only natural ingredients and without the addition of artificial sweeteners, colourings or flavourings.

We draw inspiration for our products from our wild surroundings and from the rich history, myths and legends of the region. Our first release, the Apoteca Gin range, was inspired by the druidic culture and the homeopathic remedies of old where herbs and spices were added to spirits as restoratives. Apoteca starts with a rye base, not often seen in the world of gin, and this gives us a soft, spicy platform for our 22 botanicals.

These include unusual botanicals like Bee Bread & Propolis, which give the honey aroma and flavours without the sweetness; Sea Buckthorn, which gives us a tart citrusy flavour; Wormwood & St John’s Wort, which provide herbal elements; and Oak Bark which provides a dry, balanced finish.

All of our flavours and special editions use Apoteca Original as a base and then we add fresh fruits, vegetables and distillates to create our delightfully unusual range.
