Recipe: Turmeric & Ginger Bliss Balls

A super energising and healing recipe, perfect for those days when you need a little pick-me-up! Thanks to the fantastic team at Wunder Workshop and Meghna's Whole Foods Kitchen for providing the recipe.

Instructions

1 Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes. Drain completely.

2 Place the brazil nuts and flax seeds in a food processor and process until it becomes a rough powder. Remove this nut mix from the processor and set aside.

3 Add the dates to the processor. Process until it has completely broken down and becomes a rough paste.

4 At this stage add the nut and seed mix, the Instantly Golden blend mix, ginger powder and coconut oil.

5 Process until it is well combined and becomes a ball. You may have to stop the processor and scrape down the edges once or twice. If it does not become a dough like ball then add a little water or coconut oil.

6 When ready the mix should be smooth and shiny and easy pliable. Roll into roughly 10 small balls.

7 Further roll it in coconut flakes to garnish or in some more of the Instantly Golden blend if you want it to have a stronger turmeric flavour. These will last for up to 2 weeks in the fridge and will become harder as a result.
