Recipe: Dairy-free Banana, Coconut and Raw Cacao Ice Cream

Not only is this delicious ice cream dairy free, it's completely free of any added sugar! Huge thanks to Cocoface for introducing us to this deliciously creamy, all-natural treat. Go forth and scoop!
- 150g Coconut Meat (Scooped Out of a Coconut)
- 60ml Coconut Water
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 3 Frozen Bananas
- 100g of Toasted Hazelnuts
- 4 Tbsp of Raw Cacao
- Handful of Cacao Nibs
- 1 Pinch of Sea Salt
- 2 Tbsp of Almond Butter (or Other Nut Butter)
- 45g Pitted Dates
- Prep: 20 mins
- Freeze: 6 hours

1 Toast the hazelnuts on a baking tray in the oven at 180°C for 10 mins. Let them cool.
2 Combine the toasted hazelnuts, frozen banana, cacao, dates, sea salt and almond butter in a food processor. If it needs a little bit of liquid to get it churning then add a little coconut water.
3 Slowly add the mixture to a tub, adding chopped hazelnuts and cacao nibs as you go.
4 Freeze for at least 6 hours.
5 Always remove tub from freeze 30 minutes before you want to consume this delicious raw coconut dessert. Serve it up and garnish with some hazelnuts and cacao nibs.
