Recipe: Supercrunch Cereal Bites

You know when you get cravings for cereal – not muesli – crunchy, sweet, cereal with cold milk like you used to have as a kid, except you know it's like, really bad and full of sugar so you just don't buy it anymore? Well here's the healthy, protein and superfood-enriched version that you can enjoy whenever – even for dinner, because you're a grown up and you can do whatever you want. - 1 and 1/4 x cup oats (or oat flour)
- 1/2 cup Be. Feel Boss superblend
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp bicarb of soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- liquid to bind if necessary

1 Heat the oven to 170c.
2 To make the oat flour, put the oats into a blender and blitz until they're a flour consistency. Yup, that easy.
3 Then mix all of your ingredients together until you get a chocolatey batter. If you need to add liquid to help it stick you can use either water or mylk - we used a splash of coconut.
4 Once combined start rolling your mouth-sized balls and placing them on a parchment-lined baking tray. Nb this is the majority of the whole process, but satisfying once finished.
5 When they're ready pop in the oven for 20 minutes, turning halfway through. We actually leave ours to cool in the oven, so just temp off and forget about them for a while. Store in an airtight container - unfortunately we're not sure how long they last for because they never last longer than a few days in our cupboards.
