Recipe: Spiced Organic Pear with Husk & Honey Granola

This spiced pear with granola and Greek yoghurt recipe from Husk & Honey is a delicious gluten free (and dairy free if you swap out the yoghurt) recipe for an uplifting change to your morning routine.
- 2 fresh pears
- 2 tbsp salted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground clove
- Greek yoghurt
- Cacao nibs
- 45g Gluten Free Quinoa & Buckwheat Granola
- Prep: 5 minutes
- Cooking time: 10 minutes

1 Peel, core and slice two fresh pears into 24 slices.
2 Melt two tablespoons of salted butter with two tablespoons of brown sugar, half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and half a teaspoon of ground clove in a heavy bottom pan.
3 Add the sliced pears to the pan and allow to fry on a low heat in the butter. After 4 minutes, turn the heat to medium and allow to flash fry.
4 Place half of this in the bottom of your prepared tin and spread evenly to cover the base.
5 Prepare a bowl of cold Greek yoghurt scattered with cacao nibs.
6 Place a few slices of spiced pear over the yoghurt and granola preparation and, if desired, pour over any hot juices from the pan.
7 Scatter with 45g of Quinoa & Buckwheat blend granola and enjoy!
