Recipe: Super Berry Smoothie Bowl with Cricket Flour
As delicious and satisfying as a smoothie might be, sometimes you just want to sit and eat something from a bowl for breakfast rather than drink it. Enter the smoothie bowl – nutritionist designed, brimming with goodness and... wait for it... it tastes like dessert! Guilt-free dessert! For breakfast! This beautiful recipe was brought to us by Gathr - it includes a tablespoon of their cricket flour for extra protein (but don't worry, it doesn't taste like crickets!).
Just one tablespoon of cricket flour contains six grams of good quality protein. The berries in this recipe are packed with Vitamin C and antioxidants, the spinach is rich in vitamins and minerals, and the chia and flax seeds are a good source of Omega 3. What a way to start the day!
