Lielit, princess in Amharic was launched in 2015. The idea came from the background of the owner who was born in Ethiopia and witnessed the benefits of this amazing grain. Being a trained acupuncturist herself she has encountered a growing number of adults and children with gluten intolerance and other allergies.
As this Teff is not known in the western world she decided to introduce the native Ethiopian grown grain. Teff can only be grown in Ethiopia without loosing any of its original properties due to the soil and weather conditions. Other countries have tried to grow it but failed to achieve the same quality, taste and nutritional properties .
