Our organic grass fed dry aged beef, born, raised and grazed on our family run Somerset farm is endorsed by many chefs and food industry peers including; Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver and Sheila Dillon.
All of our organic beef is grass-fed and dry aged. Our animals are all born, raised and grazed on our own organic farm in Somerset, their diet totally organic. They graze on our nutrient-rich award winning organic Somerset farm pastures which ensures the nutritional minerals and trace elements are retained in our beef. This starts with our lush fertile soil; earth with the utmost fertility (minerals and trace elements), which produces beef of the highest nutritional worth. We believe we are one of the very few UK producers who actually rear their own beef (as opposed to buying in) so provide 100% provenance for our organic grass-fed dry-aged beef.
Your order is butchered, cut or made on the day of dispatch and delivered the next working day (excluding Saturdays) ensuring that our packaging is kept to a minimum and that you receive the freshest, tastiest organic beef direct from our farm to your door. Your delivery arrives in WoolCool packaging which is proven on all testing to keep your products chilled up to 48 hours from dispatch.
To show the favourable nutritional worth of our organic beef, we did our own independent analysis and compared test results of our organic beef against analysis of conventional grass fed beef and there is indeed a marked difference; with trace elements being distinctly higher in our organic beef. A new study published in February 2016, in the British Journal of Nutrition, shows organic dairy products and meat contain around 50% more beneficial omega-3 fatty acids than non-organic, this confirms what our own analysis has shown us, that organic is nutritionally more beneficial.
